In this second full length part of my Biblical Cosmology: Theologians Gone Wild series, various Bible scholars give their take on the issue of the Firmament. Is it a solid, dome-like structure over our heads or is it to simply be understood as the "expanse" of air, gas and the vacuum of space? How many firmaments are there anyway? And what was going on in Antarctica they may give us a hint that the firmament of Scripture is real on not just "poetic language" in the Bible?
