A quick video from us celebrating some quite good news to come out of the filthy swamp that is social media nowadays. Instagram is taking action to restrict DMs between teens and adults they don't follow. In what can only be described as a positive mood to help keep kids safer online, Instagram will now place the onus on the teen and work a series of variables in its algorithms to give the gteen the choice to end the conversation, block or delete.
We thought this was worth sharing with you as it's a bit of positive news, and surprising really, coming from a company so hell-bent on supressing any sort of fight against child abuse.
