From Saturday to late Tuesday, I was stretched with so much to do, travelling, a eulogy to give, friendships to nurture, and lots more, including a rally at Supreme Court Gardens. I think a lot these days about my mortality, and the fact that I have almost 65 less years left on this earth, than when I was born. My dear friend Ron’s funeral in Bunbury was the reason my wife and I travelled for an overnight stay at Balingup further south, where we met 41 years ago, to attend the funeral the following day. The time away gave me a refreshing, though exhausting, chance to reset and clear my mind, nurture my soul, and commune with my indwelling spirit.
