Jesus teaches his disciples how to live in the righteousness he has given us. This is great stuff!

Jesus had not come to promote lawlessness. He came to fulfill the Law. The problem, the Israelite leaders had been teaching an errant version of the Law that was all about self-righteousness and spiritual superiority. Thanks be to God, Jesus sets us straight and teaches how we are to live the law as forgiven believers!
