Erdogan has essentially admitted to backing terrorism against Syria: 

"Idlib, Hama, Homs, and, of course, Damascus. This opposition march continues. We hope it proceeds without any incidents." 

The Turkish snake added: "We appealed to Assad to jointly determine Syria's future. Unfortunately, this appeal did not receive a positive response."
