So, there's a big difference between "Having something and keeping it from people as a means of control" and there actually being nothing to give Becuz it's "been destroyed, shipped off the continent, or used up". People will storm the gates but only for so long. What happens when were no longer fighting over rations or barrels of oil Becuz there just isn't any. What do people do then? Its a MUCH less volatile situation and a very quick route to dispair and hopelessness. Guys, they'll starve everyone of us .. freeze everyone of us... And allow everyone of us to perish of it meant keeping China from getting something as well. Like, would these fools blow up ALL the oil to make sure they don't get any either? Or destroy all the food to make sure they don't get it... Even if that means we starve, freeze and face a zero resource, situation? Are they gonna just take out the oil production on earth period? If nukes go off in the mid east, that's gonna happen. Oil production will be nil. It'll all shut down. And all countries will go dark for the most part. This is a war on us guys... And when you see it from that standpoint, this all going on makes perfect sense. This isn't gonna be "expensive gas". This will be no gas. This may not be food rationing. This quite possibly can be "eat zee bugs Becuz that's all there is"...
