Trump will Pardon Criminals but not Julian Assange
President Trump announces pardons
The pardons, which were announced on Tuesday, include George Papadopoulos and Alex van der Zwaan, who were convicted in the special counsel’s Russia inquiry; four Blackwater guards convicted in connection with the killing of Iraqi civilians; and two former Republican members of Congress Duncan Hunter and Chris Collins. Trump also commuted the sentences of five other people which include former GOP Rep. Steve Stockman of Texas.
Of course, people aren’t happy about his choices, so let’s look at what these people have actually done.
