This is a reading from the Introduction I wrote to our Wisdom From The Torah, Bible study workbook on the book of Numbers. In it, I describe what the Scriptures have to say concerning the identity of the "church in the wilderness" (Acts 7:38) and the bait YHWH initially used to draw me into His Torah.
