I called in late afternoon to my local pre-polling booth in Malaga, Perth northern suburbs, to get some how-to-vote information for my wife’s postal vote, due to her mobility and health issues preventing her voting in person, and lo and behold, there is candidate Vince Connelly, Liberal Party, handing out how-vote-flyers. So I ventured to seek to ask him a question on behalf of Cowan voters concerning the federal 90- or 99-year suppression order on 28 high level paedophiles, but he deftly avoided having me asking any question at all.
