The John George Walk trail has disappeared under the overflowing water from the usually sedate Swan River, close to Blackadder Creek, due to the generous ongoing rains in the far distant inland catchment area. For more than 4 weeks now the Swan River has burst its banks, in a varying degree of mild flooding. Many locals are visiting just to glory in it, due to the infrequency of the phenomenon these days.
