Is your smartphone your best friend?

Before the internet and smartphones people primarily lived their lives through each other. Now, it seems to me people primarily live their lives through their smartphones. At many places in the Holy Bible, it speaks of people having ears and eyes to understand and follow, or to not understand and follow, the word of God. Deuteronomy chapter 29, Isaiah chapters 29 and 52, Ezekiel chapters 12, 40, 44, Matthew chapter 13, Mark chapter 8, John chapter 12, Acts chapter 28, Romans chapters 11 and 15. Through smartphones and the internet people can only gain information through their eyes and ears. Of course, much of this information is lies, deceptions, censored, etc. Satan who I don’t believe is dumb, would logically love to use the internet and these two senses try to derail God’s plans, and Satan is of course a tremendous liar and deceiver, etc., as stated in John chapter 8 verse 44, “When he lies, he speaks according to his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.” Satan is also capable of supernatural activity as 2thessalonians chapter 2 verse 9 reveals, “The coming of the lawless one by the activity of Satan will be with all power and with pretended signs and wonders.” It seems to me the lit up screens people use to access the internet may very well be an angel of light as described in 2Corinthians chapter 11 verse 14, which states, “even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.” Have a great day.
