A top Russian investigator says the United States has been involved in Ukraine’s bio-weapons development program.
Alexander Bast-ry-kin says the analyses of obtained documents show
representatives from the Pentagon and certain American firms have been
involved in biological military activities in Ukraine. The Russian
investigator says Washington has spent over 224 million dollars since
2005 on such programs in Ukraine. He says the sum has been funneled into
about 30 research centers run by Ukraine’s defense, health, and
agricultural ministries. Russia has long accused Ukraine of pursuing a
U-S-funded bio-weapons program. That amid Washington’s allegations that
Moscow could launch a chemical attack on its western neighbor; a claim
the Kremlin vehemently denies.
