I’ve been to around 17 protests and rallies here in Perth in the past 10 months, many of which had thousands in attendance, and the government has kept up its increasing attack on our basic human rights and freedoms. A rally in the centre of Perth is morale boosting, but over in a day, and the politicians neither attend nor care, because it is quarantined to the day itself. If we went, repeatedly, in the hundreds to the very street verges outside the homes of the corrupt or lazy or gutless politicians who are letting us down, many would come on side or quit their elected positions. These desperate times call for actions that previously were not done as matter of fairness to the family and private lives of our elected representatives. Please do what you can to organise such events locally to where you live.
