Ghislaine Maxwell Trial Opening Statements Begin Monday
Opening statements in the trial of Ghislaine Maxwell, who is accused of helping convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein recruit and abuse underage girls, begin Monday. Prosecutors say Maxwell was the ringleader in procuring girls as young as 14 for Epstein but Maxwell has repeatedly denied the allegations against her.
