 WASHINGTON D.C. – On Thursday, the Federal Reserve Board announced they are taking public comment on the proposal of the creation of a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC).   The board also released a discussion paper, “Money and Payments: The U.S. Dollar in the Age of Digital Transformation,” that examines the pros and cons of going digital.
