There will be a national test conducted on October 4th, 2023 for the Emergency Broadcast System or EBS for short but is now known as the EAS system which is the Emergency Alert System and there is the WEA test which is the Wireless Emergency Alert system. This test will effect many electronics, especially cell phones, tablets and similar devices such as computers and any devise that contains data, especially personal data. It is believed that your devises will be installed with spyware to monitor and listen to your conversations and record video through your cameras and pickup your biometric data and you can include tracking you as well. Yes, the technology is that advanced in case you are wondering. Unplug other electronic devises such as computers and other devises containing your data. Always unplug your webcam when not in use as a normal precaution if you have one. Don't just block it with tape as many webcams also have microphones to pick up sounds, voices and conversations.

On October 4th you will want to protect your electronic devises from this test which can upload your data and install spyware. The test is supposed to start at 2:20pm east coast time or 11:20am west coast time. I strongly suggest protecting your devises two or three hours before and after the test ends just to be extra careful and sure. One way is to put your small devices in a faraday bag but make very sure you turn your devise off or even remove the battery if your battery can normally be removed or is meant to be removed and replaced. Most phones these days have batteries that are not removeable so don't worry about it, just make sure your devise is completely off.

If you do not have a faraday bag you can buy them or the alternative for protecting your cell phones, tablets and similar devices is to wrap it snuggly in aluminum foil which must be done properly to protect your devise. Always remember to turn your devise off or there is a good chance your device (cell phone) will be damaged. The best way to wrap your phone as an example is to wrap it in aluminum foil with tightly folded creases, almost like you were wrapping a sandwich. But the folds have to be done tightly. Imagine you were going to wrap it in order to keep water from getting to the phone if submerged in water. Please do not submerge it it water to test how well you wrapped it. It actually needs to be wrapped this way because 4G and 5G RF signals can seep through very small spaces in between the foils, so do the job correctly if you want your devise protected. I would not trust putting your devise in a microwave oven as the test signal can still get to it in many cases.

Anyway wrap it this way with tight aluminum foil folds, 4 or 5 folds per side. I suggest that you wrap it a second time with another foil just to be extra protected from the test. One more thing, the video suggests that you only need to protect your devise for one hour during the test. I suggest that you keep your devises protected most of the day if you can do it which means you can't use your devises then. Yeah it's a big annoyance and a hassle to be without the use of your phone and other devises but wouldn't you rather be safe than sorry. And you will not be able to notice any difference if your devise was effected and infected or not in case you are wondering.
