The Russian Aerospace Forces carried out five airstrikes on the bridge just north of Ar Rastan (located between Hama and Homs) to slow down the militants' advance towards Homs. (thumbnail, is before)

And: 

NEW: Accounts affiliated with the Syrian Arab Army claim they control Maardes, on the M5 highway above Hama. 

They now allegedly control most of the strategic locations and towns around Hama City. We have to wait for confirmation.
