I was at this protest on New Years’ Day, outside Ascot Racecourse, against the requirement to show proof of double vaccination status to enter the event, the first time such has been required in Western Australia. After I left, two of my fellow protestors were brutally thrown to the hard surfaced ground, one tasered, for no justifiable reason. A sad day for W.A., and a sad day for W.A. police’s standing with the public, although it must be noted that our indigenous brothers have been brutalised for 2 centuries, and this continues to the present day.
