Most statists, and especially the political left these days, are remarkably bad at listening to, or trying to understand, opposing views. They would rather hate things that only exist inside their own heads, than have to honestly address different opinions. In a lot of cases, they ARE the hateful, intolerant fascists they claim to oppose.
