An interesting crime story has ignited the internet and highlighted the confusing and contradictory of nature of current abortion laws. Former Doctor Sikander Imran slipped an abortion pill into his pregnant ex-girlfriend Brook Fiske's drink, which ultimately caused a miscarriage. Imran was charged with premeditated killing of a fetus of another and illegally causing abortion or miscarriage, and sentenced to three years in prison.
