Elton and Bernie's classic ballad - Your Song. One of the songs that I used to love playing bits of as a younger man. I could never work with the sheet music, with it's codas and "go back here' and repeat" and tiny, hard to read font! Finally this last year I looked at it again and decided to write it out myself in a linear fashion (and big enough to see) - Long, but so much more user-friendly. I was overjoyed to be able to play the whole damn song from start to finish for the first time in my life. It sounds stupid, but when you are young, you can be under the influence of a lot of ideas about how you "Must do it this way or not at all". Finally you grow up and say F**k it! I'm doing it my way! Which I can thoroughly recommend by the way.
