Here, I discuss how "faith" and "believe" have the same Greek root.  Therefore if you believe, that means you have faith, or more meaningfully, are acting faithfully, to Jesus Christ.  And believing is not just a one time event-it is a lifelong commitment, which is the acting out of faith.
