Adding update later on November 5th:
The entire Louvre video surveillance system was protected by the password "Louvre," reports the newspaper Libération.
The museum also used 2003 software that had not received security updates for years.
Earlier, the prosecutor's office stated that the Louvre was robbed by petty criminals, not professionals.
