An earthquake is encoded as a great trumpet in Rev 1. The Rule of 1st Use (because Christ is the First & Last also in Rev 1) is that where a word is first found, it can have a meaning or context for end-times and the 1st place we find trumpet is Exodus 19 for a mini-Judgment day with God and His law when the mountain shook greatly. An earthquake initiates "the day of the Lord" when God "will shake the earth terribly." Isa 2:12,21.
