Life is awash with hard to deal with people, around whom we must walk on eggshells, sapping us of energy, creativity, joy, and so on. The rub is, EVERY one of us is a management issue to someone else. The aim is to be the least of a management issue to others, and be a master at managing others; this is easier said than done.
