One of the most fundamental tenets of the scientific method is to question the science. In this discussion, that is precisely what we do.

Of course, this is entirely satirical, as is everything!

Important note: I neglected to mention that the salt I use is mined from ancient subterranean salt deposits. Thus, the modern-day contaminants that cause me grave concern that would be present (and not tested for) in oceanic water and derived salt would not be present in such high proportions in such salt.

In other words, the toxins I’m concerned about are minimal in my salt, because it’s not from the surface.
