U.S. Cannabis Companies Show Improving Credit Quality

Viridian Capital Advisors believe the single best measure of corporate credit quality is the debt to market cap rate.

Viridian calculated debt to market cap for a basket of U.S. cannabis companies, 77% had lower debt / market cap in 2020 than in 2019.

All of the companies displayed have total debt that is less than 50% of the market value of their equity. These numbers compare favorably with many U.S. high yield bond issuers.
