Horizon reports on the last lab samples of smallpox. Although officially eradicated as a disease, the last samples of the smallpox virus, now held in the two top security laboratories in the USA and Siberia, are to be destroyed. But a debate has erupted over whether the virus should be preserved, because it may contain genetic material as to the nature and cure of other diseases.
