Quite often, my several species of bamboo decide to let their new season's culms head off in a direction that is not to my liking, or will lead to the culm's demise, as would have occurred for the culm in this video. Be on the edge of your seat day by day as I use a Spanish windlass to pull the Bambusa balcooa culm back from the eave of the house, where it would have ended up snapping itself from growth pressure.
