New information has appeared in Russian media about a fierce battle fought near Kherson.

The Russians are detailing a battle between Russian and Polish forces near Kherson earlier this year.

A paratrooper group of the 46th Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, moving along the contact line, falls into an ambush organized by a unit of the 38th Russian motorized rifle brigade.

The Russians bombard the advancing tank which causes the phalanx to stop.

The Poles come out and try to disperse within the forest zone. The rest are hiding in the grass and behind the armored car.

A second strike follows. 14 Poles were killed in this battle.
