The Ukrainian military ombudsman (an official appointed to investigate individuals' complaints against maladministration, especially that of public authorities) said that the TCC cannot check documents, detain, or hold people in the draft offices
"The TCC does not have the right to check documents of Ukrainian citizens. This is explicitly prohibited by the Constitution of Ukraine," — said Lubinets.
