Four men were gathered in the ranger’s office on the outskirts of the Bandipur Tiger Reserve in India. Today’s discussions were about killing an elephant. Someone had to come up with a viable plan, or the elephant would have to die. Two men named Barker and Zahir had seen the bull the night before, crying and begging for help, and were trying to come up with a plan to save him. They were the elephant’s only hope. But could they solve the problem in a way that was acceptable for everyone, including the elephant? When the men voted against their plan, they resolved to take initiative, and what happened next was incredible!
