The 2019 SEA Games have seemingly turned into an embarrassing fail for host country the Philippines. Philippinean authorities have already apologized after images were released showing the state of underpreparedness for the Southeast Asian games. Complaints range from incomplete construction to airport delays, insufficient food for athletes, not enough rooms, etc. The organizing committee has tried to play the problems down, labeling them as "inefficiencies or miscoordination."
