Adolf, a seasoned big cat trainer, parked his truck off to the side of a two-track dirt road in the Mexican wilderness. He knew what he saw, but somehow his brain wouldn’t compute it. It was unlikely. No, it was impossible. It couldn’t be. But it was a small lion cub, injured, alone, and starving. Adolf immediately decided he needed to save the cub’s life, and in the following months raised it into a powerful lioness. Then he was forced to leave her behind, but when he met her again, the unthinkable happened!
