When Anastasia left her baby, she made sure no humans were around to see her. But someone else was. Initially, the cat ignored the bundle of blankets at the mouth of the alleyway. She’d been hunting rats and had cornered a fat prey a few moments earlier. But then the bundle of blankets started wriggling. When a loud wail erupted from it, she couldn’t ignore it anymore. Her instinct told her help was needed, and she sprung into action. When she saw the abandoned baby, she did something incredible that left the entire town in shock and awe of her cleverness.
