On October 20, 2021, the Health Commissioner of the City of New York, David Chokshi, issued an Order of the Commissioner of the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. The vaccination mandate required all City employees to show proof of at least one dose of vaccination against COVID-19 by 5:00PM on October 29, 2021. It is 2025 and those employees deserve their jobs back.
