Western Australia’s Sunday Times, 20th March 2022, has a page 3 article by journalist, Sarah Steger, titled ‘IT’S A ZOO OUT THERE! COVID RULES CONTINUE TO BITE’. In this article, the stupidity and authoritarianism of the state government’s Covid-19 restriction is highlighted. Contrast this with the article below on the same page, titled ‘Daily peak ‘weeks away’’, where journalist John Flint pushes the government’s tyrannical line. Fascinating opposites on the same page, and no doubt the idiots in charge of the paper are hoping, or assuming, that the bulk of readers don’t notice the dichotomy.
