Australian White Ibis forage in large numbers around and in Blackadder Swamp, nestled at the edge of Midland, Western Australia. They don't migrate to the Middle East, as I suggested they might. Obviously they are a significant part of Australia's ecosystem, being such a large animal, consuming large amounts of living biomass daily.
