Josh Sigurdson talks with Mark Gonzales about the meltdown of the stock market as billions are wiped out in minutes and we witness a seesaw of buying and selling on the DOW and NYSE.
Foreign markets were cratering Sunday night before Monday's open and Japan halted trading in the face of massive tariffs.
While several countries have bowed to the tariffs, US companies suffer massive increases in costs as they use foreign materials for manufacturing.
China has brought in counter tariffs against the US on top of their already existing tariffs leading to Trump threatening that by April 9th, he will increase tariffs another 50% against China.
The problem is, the US manufacturing industry is far more reliant on China than China is reliant on the United States essentially leading to the cost being carried over to the consumer on top of already crippling inflation.
While the official inflation numbers are down since Trump entered office, the real overall inflation is parabolic and just in time for bank runs and bail ins as banks crater.
As the trade war escalates, this will be seen as simply a signal of what is to come as this crash that has caused so much panic is based on 1-2% dips. If that is causing panic, imagine what the real hurdles will lead to.
As the digital system is brought to the forefront we must see the signs and protect our money now.
