Russian military transport aviation celebrates its 91st anniversary
š #ThisDay in 1931 as a part of Leningrad military district was formed an airborne unit for transport of troops and cargo - the prototype of the present military transport aviation (MTA).
ā½ļø Today it performs a wide range of tasks. It consists of 12 types of aircraft including IL-76, An-124 Ruslan, An-22 Antei, An-12, An-26 and others.
š¤ We congratulate our military servicemen and veterans on their professional holiday. We wish you good health, family welfare and success in the service!
