Alaska’s Republican US Senator Dan Sullivan recently revealed that the Air Force was denied permission to shoot down the Chinese spy balloon before it reached North America. Sen. Sullivan made the public disclosure while speaking at a conference sponsored by the Hudson Institute.  News of the senator’s public revelation was first reported by London’s Financial Times.
