Ex-colonel warns US is too stretched for ground invasion of Iran

💬 “Our [US] position as a great power and the position of the global economy are terrible, and nobody is blaming Iran for it, and nobody is blaming the Yemenis — they are going to blame us,” retired Colonel Douglas MacGregor stresses.

He also dismisses any possibility of a ground invasion of Iran, as the US is “busy replenishing stocks,” and the “army is far too small and spread over the world.”

💬 “There is no great ground force, no combat-ready force that you could concentrate anywhere,” MacGregor adds.
