On day 17 of his water fasting journey, Dr. Group discusses handling a busy schedule while fasting. He anticipates walking several miles throughout the day but reflects on how he has begun to feel normal again with energy levels rising over the last few days. As he comes to an end in his fasting journey, he also comments on not having realized how much time we spend on food and preparing for a meal. Now having more time in his day for other activities, he feels free of some of the burdens of ordinary life. Taking a few more questions in his afternoon update, Dr. Group shares some of the research available currently on fasting with diabetes, a common concern he hears from others, how fasting may help with infertility and talks about his diet before fasting.
