(1936, Chesterfield) Donald Cook, Ann Doran, Erin Moore, Doug Fowley. Cook is a high-flying newspaperman who falls into an engagement to a lady he does not love. Lots of poverty row intrigue follows. Pretty much a straight drama with no real crime elements, but after all, it is a Chesterfield. Doran's first big role.
