I have been using a shot of Ivermectin from the Equimec brand of horse paste about once a month when my recurrent throat infections flare up or threaten to worsen. This shot is about 20mg of Ivermectin from about 1 gram of paste. If your infection is bacteriological the Ivermectin probably will do little, however, many if not most throat infections begin from virus infections, commonly from the Coronavirudae, which include the common cold variants as well as influenza variants. If it is a virus infection, the viral load is reduced by Ivermectin, giving the immune system less to clean up.
