Dueling truths in the Holy Bible. 4-19-24

In Romans chapter 10 it states, “everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved.” Then in Ephesians chapter 1 it states, “even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world.” I was first made aware of these two truths by watching Les Feldick’s great show "Through the Bible With Les Feldick."  Les couldn’t, and no doubt I can’t explain how, any person can choose to have eternity with God, and all those who will have eternity with God were chosen before the foundation of the world, are both true, but of course they are. To me, they are a perfect example of the sovereignty of God. Have a great day.
