First it was the Soviet Union and, to a lesser extent, the Third Reich. More recently it is communist China. In each case, United States politicians took money, favors, and revolving door opportunities from lobbyists and wealthy elitists to permit the finance of the economic and military development of Marxist (e.g. Marxist-Leninism, National Socialism, etc...) nations into the United State's most powerful enemies. Note that this transference was necessary for these Marxist regimes to progress rapidly as Marxist socioeconomics cannot both facilitate then maintain rapid economic development to the extent a highly developed mixed economy such as the U.S. is able to. Many scholars have written on this topic; however, one of the older and more popular authors was Dr. Anthony C. Sutton during and after his time with the Hoover Institution at Stanford University in California. In this interview, Dr. Anthony C.
