Poor Sherin was in bad shape.
She had almost no red blood cells and her body couldn't make them.
The doctor had to give her a blood transfusion right after she was admitted to the vet.
Sherin's pelvis was broken, but it was not serious and would heal on its own.
Her sad eyes broke our hearts.
A loyal dog did not deserve such treatment.
