Blackadder Swamp filling up in reverse [MVI_4025]

An uncommon natural phenomenon: the Swan River, midway between Viveash and Woodbridge, in metropolitan Perth, pushed floodwater back up Blackadder Creek, which normally drains its namesake swamp into the Swan, and began refilling it, after heavy rain in the Northam catchment area. A boon for the many waterbirds that rely on the high-value Blackadder Swamp for their life-cycles.
