The movie degrades a champion of the poor before & during the Great Depression. He played by the System’s lack of rules & ran them ragged. But Caesar wanted his pound of flesh & they took it out of him & more. Shame on Tom Hardy for making another movie where he sells his soul to the devil being a propagandist for the Deep State. I’m not saying he didn’t deserve some bad karma for being such a violent criminal, but the government was no better.
